I called Whipple on a Saturday, expecting the usual: hold music, excuses, and maybe someone showing up by Tuesday. Instead, they sent Danny, who arrived faster than most people reply to a text. He cleared the utility room drain like it was nothing - blink and you’d miss it. But then, instead of packing up and leaving like 99% of people would, he stuck around to help me solve another mystery: no water to the backyard. We poked around looking for a shut-off valve like two guys in a bad escape room. Nothing. I mentioned a crawl space behind a desk that hadn’t been opened since Reagan was in office. Danny just nodded and said, “I’ll get in there.” No hesitation, no drama. I offered him a bottle of Raid as a joke, he declined, and went in anyway, not even wearing a hazmat suit. He found the issue and somehow emerged without needing a tetanus shot. I was charged what I’d call “suspiciously reasonable” given the work he did. Seriously impressive. Hats off to Danny, and to Whipple for not being the overpriced circus act I expected. Use them before they figure out they could charge double.
