Hot Water Recirculation System
If you use a lot of hot water over a relatively short period of time, a hot water recirculation system will make life easier for you. In addition to convenience, such a system is energy efficient and will help you minimize heating expenses.
What is a hot water recirculation system? It is made up of four basic parts: a swing check valve, a return line, a timer, a thermostat, and a pump. The pump is placed at the base of your water heater. The swing check valve and return line are placed on the farthest fixture. The timer and thermostat are used to determine when you have a need for hot water. All of these work together to ensure that you are maximizing the efficiency of your hot water usage.
