Wildfires continue to threaten communities across Utah, and one blaze north of Salt Lake City has struck especially close to home. The fire near North Ogden hasn’t just endangered neighborhoods—it’s also forced a few of our own Whipple Service Champions Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical team members to evacuate.
Moments like these remind us how deeply we rely on the courage and commitment of our firefighters. These men and women work around the clock, in dangerous and exhausting conditions, to protect lives, homes, and the land we love.
While we couldn’t be on the front lines ourselves, Whipple was honored to play a small role in supporting the effort. We donated cases of water, coordinated through the North View Fire District, to ensure they made it directly to the crews battling the blaze.
This isn’t about seeking recognition—it’s about stepping up for our community when it matters most. If you’re looking for a way to help, consider contacting your local fire department or a trusted relief organization. Every bit of support, big or small, makes a difference. Even simple gestures—like dropping off water, snacks, or handwritten notes of encouragement—can lift the spirits of those putting their lives on the line.
To our firefighters: thank you for your bravery. To our neighbors in North Ogden: we stand with you.
