The St. George community came together on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, for the annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, and our Whipple Service Champions team was honored to take part in such a meaningful event. Held along Main Street and concluding at Town Square, the gathering brought residents, local organizations, and veterans of all generations together in a powerful show of gratitude.
The parade began at 9:00 AM with an impressive lineup that included veterans’ organizations, military vehicles, marching bands, and community groups. Seeing so many people line the streets to cheer, wave flags, and show appreciation created an atmosphere of pride that could be felt throughout the morning. Veterans received special recognition along the parade route, and many joined in the march, welcomed by heartfelt applause at every turn.
Following the parade, the ceremony at Town Square offered a more reflective moment. Keynote speakers, the presentation of colors, and military honors reminded all in attendance of the sacrifices made by those who have served. Our team was humbled to stand alongside community members as local veterans were recognized individually for their service.
For our St. George team, participating in this event was both an honor and a reminder of the values we hold: service, gratitude, and community. We are grateful to the veterans who have protected our freedoms and to the community members who came together to celebrate them.
